Poetry recitation programme held in Morigaon

MORIGAON, November 1: A poetry recitation programme, Saron Billar Kabita-1 was organized at Nipun Deka Smriti Bhavan of Muhila Home Model School in Morigaon on Sunday.

The programme was organized under the initiative of Ashok Deka, Chandan Goswami and Pragyanjyoti. In presence of noted dramatist Rafikul Hussain and poetry critic Arindam Borkatoki, the poets recited their poems in the programme. Earlier, the programme started with a religious song by Ashok Deka, Rector of Muhila Home Model School and Mileswar Pator, social worker. Thereafter,  bakanta Bordoloi, retired lecturer of Morigaon College as well as the literary pensioner iugurated the programmme by lighting the lamp.

The programme was presided over by Rafikul Hussain where Arindam Borkatoki alyzed the recited poems at length. On the other hand, the organizers felicited Dr Dhiren th, Alakanda Kakati, rendra th Keot,  former Principal of Morigaon College. The felicitation  programme was conducted by Chandan Goswami.
