Poets' meet held

Doomdooma, April 4: Under the auspices of Tinsukia Zila Kabi Sanmilan (TZKS), a poets’ meet was held at the conference room of Doomdooma Sakha Sahitya Sabha recently with President Hitesh Gogoi in the chair. About 70 poets from Doomdooma, Rupai, Dangari, Talap, Digboi, Tinsukia, Dibrugarh, Duliajan, Makum-Dangri, Matiyekho, Laipuli, Kakapather, and Daimukhia TE attended the meet and of them, 48 young poets recited/read out their self-composed poems. The meet, which was convened by three young poets - Jay Surya Bora, Indu Dutta Ujir and Gayatri Bora - had  Dr Aru Gogoi Baruah as co-orditor.
