Police constable dies in road mishap

Golaghat, July 4: A tragic road accident took place at Rongajan of Golaghat on Tuesday where a 3rd IRBn constable died on the spot. According to report, a speeding vehicle-carrier truck hit a motor cycle on which 3rd IRBn constable R. Lalruatkima and his wife were riding. The police constable died on the spot following the head-on collision while his wife sustained injuries. Constable R. Lalruatkima was a resident of Pukpui village under Langlai district of Manipur. Numaligarh Police caught the vehicle along with its driver. The wife has been admitted at Swahid Kushal Konwar Civil Hospital.
