Police constable kills wife

JORHAT, March 4: A woman was allegedly killed by her husband at Cimora near Cimora Tea Estate under Cinmora police outpost on Friday night in Jorhat. Police sources said Sushil Das, a police constable, allegedly killed his wife Hema Telenga, daughter of Bikram Telenga, in their house. A written complaint was lodged in Jorhat sadar police station and police registered a case and arrested accused Sushil Das under section IPC 302,34.
