Police-public meeting held

DIPHU, Jan 22: A  joint meeting of police and public was held at Bakalia  in  Karbi  Anglong  on Sunday.

 Sum Ronghang , MLA of  Diphu, attending  the  meeting  and appealed  to the  people  to  maintain  peace  and  tranquility  in the  area  and  not to get swayed by false  propaganda. The Additiol SP of Karbi  Anglong, while speaking  in  the  meeting,  said that people should  not  to  pay  heed  rumours and always maintain  peace  in the area.

 School  teachers , gaonburhas, local  dignitaries  and businessmen  were  present  in  the  meeting.
