Police seize cattle

SHILLONG, Aug 27: A police team led by Sub Inspector R Syrti seized nine cattle heads that were intended to be smuggled into Bangladesh through Muktapur area early on Friday. According to Amlarem Sub-divisiol Police Officer Jason Mairom, after receiving proper intelligence about the intention of the traffickers to illegally smuggle the cattle heads to Bangladesh, a team of police personnel sent to the and seized the bovines.
