Police still clueless about Samar Das

Silchar, Aug 28: Samar Das, 32, son of Kalaram Das and a resident of Saratpalli of this town has been missing since August 20. On that fateful day at around 9.30 am, he went out on his motorcycle bearing number AS 11E-3523, Hero Honda Splendor, for visiting a dentist. He is an employee of Gautam Construction and on the day of his missing, he went to his office and then came out after reading newspapers. His wife Jayashree Das has filed a missing report with the in-charge Rangirkhari outpost following day.

 The police were prompt in taking necessary action in this case. They traced out from the sigl that his cell phone was at Rongpur on August 20, after which it was untraced. Samar Das’s bike has been recovered at Balacherra under Barkhola police station on August 21. On August 27, his wife Jayashree Das met Rajveer Singh, Superintendent of Police, Cachar, and requested him to find out her husband. Samar Das has a 4-years-old son. He is origilly an inhabitant of Dilkush Basti in Dilkhush tea estate, Lakhipur sub division.

 Samar Das was in possession of two cell phones and both of them are switched off. SP Rajveer Singh rang up the officer in-charge of Rangirkhari outpost and directed him to exert all resources to trace out Samar Das and keep him posted with the development. Reason behind his missing is not clear. It is also not known if any person or persons are involved in any kind of conspiracy against him. A thorough investigation alone can reveal everything.
