Polio vaccition begins in Golaghat

Golaghat, January 24: Under the Pulse Polio Immunization Scheme to make India free from polio, vaccition started on Sunday in Golaghat.

The Deputy Commissioner of Golaghat, Arul Haque formally iugurated this at Rupjyoti LP School in Golaghat. Children up to five years of age were given two drops of polio vaccine orally. The vaccition started today and will continue till February 21. More than 1.30 lakh children of Golaghat district will be covered under this scheme .
