Poll observer asks Pijush Hazarika to procure vehicle permission

Morigaon, March 25: The General Observer rain Lal Mee, on his visit to various polling stations under 79 Jagiroad (SC) LAC today spotted three vehicles bearing Registration Nos—AS- 02P- 4582, AS-01BK-5038 and AS-01AQ-6400 without any permission slip on them and being used by the party members of BJP candidate for 79 Jagiroad (SC) LAC Pijush Hazarika.

The Observer also brought the matter to the notice of the concerned Returning Officer for taking necessary action.

Considering the matter as a case of violation of modal code of conduct, the Additiol Deputy Commissioner of Morigaon and Nodal Officer of Modal Code of Conduct Cell Pranjit Gogoi directed the BJP candidate to procure necessary vehicle permission as per rule from the District Administration, Morigaon before using vehicles for election campaign.
