‘Poll panel should clear doubts over EVM’

New Delhi, March 20: Samajwadi Party leader Ram Gopal Yadav on Monday said that the Election Commission should clear doubts over electronic voting machines (EVMs). “We are not casting aspersions over the commission’s intentions. But the poll panel must satisfactorily address the doubts raised by several quarters,” Yadav, a Rajya Sabha member, said outside Parliament. On the newly elected Bharatiya Jata Party government in Uttar Pradesh, Yadav said his party would desist from commenting on the development for six months. “Give the new Chief Minister (Yogi Adityath) some time. Let them settle down.”  (IANS)
