Polling peaceful in Gossaigaon

Gossaigaon, April 8: The BTC polls in six constituencies of Gossaigaon subdivision concluded peacefully. Except in Sahajuri centre of Saraibil constituency, polling in all other centres was peaceful. The IGP of North Eastern Sector Vijay Kumar visited few sensitive poll booths in the subdivision. While talking to The Sentinel, IGP Kumar said that the security forces had been working hard to prevent any untoward incident and he assured security even after the poll results.
