Pony rescued during flood awaits taker

TANGLA, April 20: A pony which was rescued by villagers of Balipara under Kalaigaon police station in Udalguri district eight months back during floods continues to be in the custody of Kalaigaon Police. Reportedly, the pony which was carried away by the flooded river Noa was rescued by the villagers after an hour long struggle.  Kalaigaon Police took its custody and has been providing the required medical attention and care to the pony. The Kalaigaon police is also looking for its disposal to any horse rearer at a reasonable price.
