Poor road condition irks varsity students

Silchar, Dec 12: Teachers, staffs and students of the Department of Social Work of Assam University have been facing problems owing to bad condition of the stretch in front of the Department. In this regard, members of Assam University Students’ Union (AUSU) have requested its Vice-Chancellor to look into the matter and take immediate steps. They have stated in a memorandum that immediate construction of the road has become essential and should be treated as urgent as the area has become prone to accidents and mishaps.
