'Positive interest necessary for all-round development in education'

Tezpur, Sept 18: The government has adopted several projects for all-round revolutiory development in the sphere of education and since 2012, around 1 lakh teachers have been appointed in the education sector and as per eligibility, 86,000 thousand  TET teachers were given appointment in various schools in the State. To achieve the desired result in the field of education, positive interest must be built from top to bottom, said State Education Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma while attending as a chief guest in a meeting of development of education and exchange of views and interaction with the teachers from various schools of Rangapara LAC held on Saturday at Dhekidol LP School, Ghoaramari under Balipara Education Block in Sonitpur district in the presence of State Power Minister Pallab Lochan Das,  ADC Sonitpur Parag Kr Kakati and other dignitaries.

Sarma further said that a lot remained to be done to build a proper educatiol environment, infrastructure and to properly implement the mid-day meal scheme, and the government was striving hard to streamline all this. The government has also taken initiative for pensioners to get their pension within three months from the date of retirement to elimite any impediments by 2019.  Pallab Lochan Das urged all teachers to adopt a positive attitude and to fulfil their responsibilities sincerely to build a better educatiol environment. For good result in the upcoming Gunotsav, teachers, students and parents should come forward and lend a helping hand, Das added.
