Post of main stage of BSU convention laid

KOKRAJHAR, February 1: The post of the main stage of the first annual convention of the Bodoland Students’ Union (BSU) was laid on Sunday at Bodofa Nwgwr by its president Swgwmsar Basumatary in presence of executive members and other student activists. The first annual convention of BSU will be held on February 10 and February11 at Bodofa Nwgwr. Basumatary said the BSU was formed with the students of different communities of BTC region. The aim and objective of the BSU was to work for the interest of the students of the region. He said the BSU had been working for the solution of the problems of students with collaborative efforts. As per the scheduled programme, the delegate sitting in the evening of February 10 will be iugurated by Swgwmsar Basumatary, the president of BSU, followed by the discussion on the new entry of memberships in central committee of the union. The next day, BTC chief Hagrama Mohilary will be the chief guest in the open session. Rajya Sabha MP Biswajit Daimary will release the souvenir The Bodoland Mirror.  BSU president Swgwmsar Basumatary will unfurl the organizatiol flag.
