Posters, hoardings removed in Kamrup district

RANGIA, March 14: In view of the ensuing assembly election, the Kamrup election district administration has taken required action against banners, posters and hoardings put up uuthorized by political parties and defacement of public properties where official permission has not been taken. The administration has ensured the removal and defacement of political advertisements in almost all the parts of the district. So far about 7,000 posters, banners, kiosks, party flags and defacement of public and private properties were removed in Kamrup district. The administration has also removed hoardings highlighting the achievements of government as per the guideline of Model Code of Conduct.
