Itagar, June 21: People’s Party of Aruchal (PPA) legislature party leader Takam Pario met BJP general secretary Ram th Kovind and assured support of nine PPA legislators to his candidature for the post of President. Kovind is the NDA nominee. Apprising Kovind of the situation in Aruchal Pradesh, Pario said the relation of the state’s lone regiol party with the ruling BJP has been conducive and this would be beneficial for both parties and the people of the state. The meeting with Kovind was very cordial, Pario said over the telephone.
