PPA resents withdrawal of speacial staus to Aruchal

ITAGAR, May 31: The People’s Party of Aruchal (PPA) has expressed displeasure at the withdrawal of special status to Aruchal Pradesh and other NE States and cut in Central funds for developmental schemes. PPA president kamen Ringu while addressing a party meet warned that the Central governmeent’s move will harm the interests of the people of Aruchal as well as those of other NE States. Speaking on the occasion, party general secretary Kaling Zerang urged the State government to find a solution as well as devise ways to be self-reliant and not depend too much on Central funds.
