Prantor Baruah gets Intertiol Certification

Dibrugarh, Jan 19 : Prantor Baruah, who had qualified as a “A” level tiol golf referee in Feb’2015, has now been awarded “Intertiol Certification” as a “Golf Referee” and “Tourment  Administrator” by R & A at St, Andrews, Scotland, which governs and administers golf rules in the world along with United States Golf Association( USGA ).  Baruah was one of the two candidates nomited from India for a programme conducted by R&A in Japan from 22nd to 25th Nov’2016, and after successful completion of the programme and clearing the exams he has now been awarded Intertiol Certification as a Golf Referee and Tourment Administrator.

He is the first such Intertiolly Certified golf referee from Assam and the North East and only second from Eastern India. He is presently based in Tezpur.
