Pre-Christmas celebration at Garbandha

Boko, December 13: Around 2,000 villagers of Kamrup, Goalpara and Meghalaya celebrated pre-Christmas at Garbandha village in Boko. Garbandha Baptist members organized the celebration and Jothan Marak presided over the Pre-Christmas celebration. During this celebration a cultural programme was arranged where Garo, Rabha, Boro and Other cultural troops participated and Jitu Moni Deka Medhi from the School of Nursing Jorhat Christian Medical Centre gave the pre-Christmas message to the public. Another noted social worker ndita Das also greeted the people for Christmas and New Year. Many Church leaders took part in this programme.
