Pre-Christmas celebrations held

SHILLONG, Dec 17: With the objective to share the joy of Christmas with everyone especially with the local residents/ business establishments in and around the campus, the students from the Department of Magement and Commerce Studies, Martin Luther Christian University organised a pre-Christmas celebration with the local residents including the shopkeepers in the locality of Nongrah Nonglum.

The Christmas celebrations held on Friday at Lailad, Nongrah Nonglum were attended by children, their parents and other local residents.

The whole event was initiated and planned by the students from the department of Magement and Commerce Studies and fincial contributions were given by the faculty and students of the department.

The theme of the celebrations was “Restoring Love and Kindness” and the programme included Bible Reading and sing of Christmas Carols, giving of gifts to the children and many other Christmas performances were given by the students of MLCU.
