Preparation for civic polls in Sivasagar

Sivasagar, February 3: As the civic polls are approaching in the State, the BJP seems to be in disharmony and chaos. Since senior members of the party have left the party and have decided to contest independently, it has created problems also for the Congress. The popularity of Yusuf Ahmed and Anuj Khan from Ward No. 1, Uma Shankar Sarma from Ward No. 10 and Anta Rajkhowa from Ward No. 14, who have decided to contest independently, has become a problem for both the BJP and the Congress. In order to give a tough contest to both parties, a large number of independent candidates will be fighting the polls, like Bokul Bijoy Chutia and Ra Khan.
