Preparation in full swing for Rabha Xahitya Xabha's annual conference

TANGLA, Oct 28: In a bid to uplift the cultural heritage of the Rabhas, thereby promoting integrity and sense of brotherhood among the people, irrespective of caste, creed and race, the Bebak Rabha Kraurang Runchum (All Rabha Sahitya Sabha), one of the frontier literary organizations of the State, this time will organize its 34th annual conference  with a three-day colorful cultural programme here at Chibakai Satish Chandra Rabha Sumursini Mapak Dam at Tangla in Udalguri from December 27 to December 30.

A strong reception committee to this effect for the grand celebration of the  programme has already been formed with State PHE, Food and Civil Supply Minister Rihon Daimari as president, social worker Binod Rabha as working president, and Harakanta Rabha as general secretary. The four-day extravaganza will include exhibition and colorful cultural programmes of different communities, besides literary symposiums, book fairs and an open session which will be attended by delegates, public leaders, educationists, social reformers and scholars from different parts of the country.
