Preparation on for Chhath Puja at Demow

DEMOW, Oct 25: Chhath Puja, the festival dedicated to the Sun God will be celebrated in Demow and its surrounding areas from Thursday. Chhath Puja will be celebrated with religious fervour and devotion in Demow Parghat, Dehajan Parghat, Deroi Parghat, Deoriting Parghat, Athabari Borphukhuri Parghat, Chakalia Parghat and Betbari Parghat. People will light lamps near the Parghat before the sun rises. The volunteers are working hard and are busy in decorating the Parghats. The preparation is going on in full swing in Demow.
