Preparation on for Rongali Bihu celebration in Dhekiajuli

DHEKIAJULI, March 29: Hectic preparation is on to celebrate Rongali Bihu at the Swahid gari, Dhekiajuli.  Rongali Bihu will be celebrated in district at the Swahid Maidan, Dhekiajuli  under the aegis of the central Bihu committee, Dhekiajuli with a five-day long programme which will begin on April 15 and conclude on April 19.

The Dhekiajuli Central Bihu Committee this year will celebrates its 63rd annual Bohag Bihu.  Recently, a  celebration committee has been formed  in a general meeting  held at the Dhekiajuli Truck Association campus.  Social worker Dhruba Kumar Borah was selected as the president and Bibek Borah was selected as secretary of the celebration committee. The main attraction of this event will be the cultural programme of Neel Akash and Jublee on the last day.
