Preparation on to observe Netaji’s birth anniversary

TANGLA, Jan 21: Preparation is on in Tangla town to observe the 120th birth anniversary of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on January 23.

 A day-long programme will be held at Tangla Tili near the statue of Netaji . As per schedule, in the morning the flag will be hoisted by Sanjay Sen, vice-chairman of Tangla Town Committee. Malay Kr. Lahiri, senior lawyer, will offer floral tributes at the portrait of Netaji. A cultural night will also be held were local talents, including Prof Ashim Kr. Roy, will enthrall the audience.
