Preparations for civic polls in Amguri

AMGURI, February 4: With only five days left for civic polls, all parties here are getting ready for the poll battle.  Since Amguri MLA Anjan Dutta became the chairman of the APCC and the former MLA of Amguri Pradip Hazarika became the general secretary of the AGP central committee, a tough battle is expected between the two parties. Two of them campaigned in the area on Wednesday.  Education Minister Sarat Borkotoky of the Congress and MP Kamakhya Prasad Tassa of the BJP on Wednesday campaigned for their respective parties in the area.
