Preparations on for free yoga treatment and meditation camp

KOKRAJHAR, Nov 18: A meeting of the core committee of the reception committee of the free yoga treatment and meditation camp which will be attended by Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev on November 21, November 22 and November 23 at Green Field, Bodofa Nwgwr, Kokrajhar was held at Sikhjhar Tae-kwon-do Gymsium on Saturday. The meeting was chaired by the president of the reception committee, Rabiram rzary who is also the MLA of 29-Kokrajhar East. He called upon all sub-committees to concentrate in their respective fields for smooth holding of the mega yoga treatment and meditation camp being organized by the Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC).

Secretary of the reception committee, Derhasat Basumatary said that every sub-committee was working relentlessly for smooth holding of the yoga and meditation camp. He said the welcome gates in various locations were almost erected with multiple languages. Around 2 lakh leaflets had been published in Bodo, Assamese, Hindi and English and distributed in a convenient way to make people aware about yoga and its importance, he said, adding that the State praharis were imparting yoga training in every village up to 20-25 km radius since the last two months. He also said a multi-lingual souvenir Baba Ramdev’s Step 2 would be brought out on the occasion.  Rakesh Mittal, NE Kendriya Prabhari who hails from Haridwar, briefed about the technical side of the main pandal and other arrangements.
