Preparations on for Lakshmi Puja

KALAIGAON, October 25: Preparations are on in full swing in Kalaigaon to celebrate Lakshmi Puja on Monday. More than 20 Durga Puja committees will celebrate Lakshmi Puja on Monday.  The residents of Kalaigaon will install the idols of Goddes Lakshmi while blowing the conch and beating the dhak. A folk drama Kajal Rekha will be staged at Bhehguri puja mandap  on Monday night. Cultural competition and arati competition will be held in several puja mandaps under Kalaigaon area.
