Preparations on for Raax Mahotsav in gaon

Batadrava, Nov 12: Along with other parts of Assam, the last minute preparations are going on in gaon district to celebrate Raax bhao of Lord Krish. In gaon, over 500 Raaxlila organizing committees are all set to celebrate Raax with tremendous religious fervour.

Kasalukhua, Teliagaon, Morikolong, North Hoiborgaon, South Hoiborgaon , Amolapatty , Panigaon and Dimoruguri areas under gaon municipal board are ready to witness Raaxlila. At the premises of Senchowa Amar Barkakoty High School playground, Khutikatia, West Senchowa , Birah Bebejia will also host Raax bhao with a two-three day event. Similarly, in Dhing Jaggath Mandir, Raax will be held for three days.

 At Dhing Lahkargaon and Dhing Athgaon, the preparations are going on in full swing. On the other hand, in Batadrava, the Batadrava Ancholik Raax Udjapan committee is ready to observe Raax Lila with a two-day event at Bhetioni amghar. In Bhumuraguri , Ga khajua, Lalunggaon, Majgaon, Phukaghat, Chakalaghat Raax Mandir, Raidongia, Shyam Kalia Than, Soipar Shiv Mandir, Pub Hatichoung Raax Udjapan Samitee, Hatichung Ulubari Bezorchok, mati, Kujidah Juria amghar, Hatichung medhichuk, Kahiguri Bhalukmari and Kapahera, the organizing committees will celebrate Raax Lila festival.
