President, PM greet Sonia Gandhi on birthday

NEW DELHI, Dec 9: President Prab Mukherjee on Wednesday greeted Congress president Sonia Gandhi on her birthday and said she rendered immense service to the country. “I extend warm greetings and good wishes to you on your birthday. During your long span of public life, you have rendered immense service to the country,” the president said in a statement. She has made stellar contributions to all aspects of public life, Mukherjee added. Similarly, Prime Minister rendra Modi also greeted the Congress president on her birthday with wishes of good health and long life. “On her birthday, greetings to Congress president Sonia Gandhi. May Almighty bless her with long life and good health,” Modi said in a tweet.  (IANS)
