Primary school teachers' protest from February 1

DEMOW, January 28: The Assam State Primary Teacher Sanmilani had a discussion with State Education Minister Sarat Borkotaky where the minister assured that by January 31, the vacant posts of Headmaster of primary schools would be filled up. However, no steps have been taken so far to fill up the vacant posts and hence from February 1, in all the offices of the All Assam Primary Education Officer, protest programme will be held, Bimal Chandra Gogoi, secretary of Sivasagar Sub-division Primary Teacher Sanmilani, said in a press release.
