Primary school teachers stage protest against DMC

GAON, May 5: Hundreds of uided primary school teachers staged a protest in front of the gaon Deputy Commissioner’s office by holding placards and demanded release of mid-day meal fund and salary of cooks in the uided primary schools on Tuesday.

 The teachers even demanded action against alleged corruption of District Mission Coorditor (DMC) and ADC Purabi Kunwar. They shouted slogans against ADC Kunwar and demanded change of DMC of gaon.

The teachers later handed over a memorandum to the Chief Minister and State Education Minister through the gaon Deputy Commissioner. In the memorandum the teachers demanded release of fund for mid-day meal so that they could provide the mid-day meal to the students, besides other demands.
