Pritam Bhattacharjee memorial awards to toppers

Silchar, Aug 28: ‘Keshab Smarak Samiti-Pritam Bhattacharjee memorial fund’ awarded meritorious students who have excelled in their respective examitions for the year 2017 at its annual prize distribution ceremony held at Gurucharan College auditorium of this town on Sunday. Pritam Bhattacharjee Memorial Gold Medal and cash prize worth Rs.5000/- were awarded to Piki Dutta, former student, Gurucharan College for securing highest marks in Physics (Honours) in the fil semester of Third Year Degree Course (TDC) examition.  Riya Chakraborty, former student, Karimganj College, was awarded K C Paul Choudhury Memorial Gold Medal along with a cash prize of Rs. 5000/-. She obtained highest marks in Sanskrit (Honours) in the TDC fil semester examition.

 Suma Das of Women’s College bagged Kamala Bhattacharjee Smriti Medha Puraskar along with a cash prize worth Rs.5000/- for securing highest marks among the students in the TDC fil semester examition. 

In addition to these students, Sangita th of Women’s College received Bithika Bhattacharjee Smriti Medha Puraskar and a cash prize of Rs.5000/- for scoring highest marks amongst all the students of Pass Course in the TDC fil semester examition. Manideepa Deb, a student of Saraswati Shishu Niketan  received Pritam Bhattacharjee Science Talent award and cash prize of Rs. 3000/- for participating in the tiol Children Science Congress 2016.
