Dibrugarh, Nov 20: The representatives of Sodou Axom Jatiyotabadi Juvo Xonmilan and Sanmmilit Khilonjiya Parishod, Axom have submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner Laya Madduri regarding the growing inconveniences being faced by the people due to the negligence shown by many private hospitals.
The memorandum underscored the issue of such hospitals not using incinerators, thereby subjecting the public to the harmful bi-products coming out of the nursing homes; the lack of adequate parking facilities at the hospital premises that cause traffic congestion; and also expressed doubts over whether these hospitals had renewed their licenses after their expiry.
The complaints, through the memorandum, urged the Deputy Commissioner to take proper measures to ensure the installment of incinerators, establishment of adequate parking space in the hospital premises and timely renewal of the expired licenses.
