Private motor vehicle company allegedly occupies land inside government office campus

From a Correspondent

GAON (HAIBORGAON), August 21:  A private motor vehicle company allegedly occupied governmental land in the office campus of the gaon Joint Director of Health and constructed 70-80 feet high hoardings of the company by covering 100 metres/25 feet of land of the office campus by maging the high officials of the office.

The motor vehicle company has not taken the prior permission from the departmental authority, rather the company allegedly maged the district departmental head through unfair means. As per allegation of the general public of the district, neither the private company nor any individual can occupy the land of any government office without prior permission. Yet how could a private motor vehicle company occupy land of 100 metres/ 25 feet inside a government office is a big question to all. Interestingly, the higher authority of the office or the District Joint Director of Health is mum and after intimation of that encroachment of official land he allegedly did not take any legal action or legal initiative against that illegal encroachment till filing this report.

In a telephonic interaction with this correspondent, the Joint Director of District Health, Dr. Atul Chandra Patar said that he was still in the dark on that issue and did not know who and how that construction was accomplished inside the office campus. Patar, however, assured that he would evict all those illegal construction inside the office campus within hours. But even after a couple of weeks, the hoardings are still standing inside the office, which has drawn widespread reaction from various sections of people of the district.

On the other hand, Keshabanda Bora, a field health worker, who was attached to the office of Joint Director of District Health for the last 10 years, allegedly took off some air conditioner machines from Mohkhuli Hospital and fixed them in his office room without permission from higher authority due to his alleged closeness with the Joint Director, Patar. Keshabanda Bora in this regard stated that the machines were kept there without use and hence he had taken some such AC machines and fixed them in the office of the District Joint Director of Health.
