Prize money open debate competition in Dibrugarh

Dibrugarh, September 12: The Dibrugarh Art Players Society, this year too, will be organizing the All Assam Bamdev Goswami Prize Money Open Debate Competition here at Amolapatty tya Mandir, on September 25.

The debate competition is organized in memory of  freedom fighter  Bamdev Goswami every year since 1947. Prize money open debate competition is open for students of Class XI  and others who wants to participate.

 The participants may debate for or against the motion in both Assamese and English. The topic of the debate is ‘Sadar Mote Bartaman Homoit Briddhashramor Proyujon Ase' (In the opinion of the house old age home is pertinent in the present context).

The winner of the competition will be awarded with the Bamdev Goswami Running Trophy, while the second and third position winners will be given the Parbati Kumar Goswami Running Trophy and Ashwini Kumar Goswami Running Trophy respectively. The fourth position holder of the debate competition will be presented with the Ranjeet Kumar Goswami Running Trophy. All the winners of the debate competition will also be awarded with individual cash rewards.
