Pro Kabaddi season opener witnesses unprecedented ticket sales

Mumbai, June 24: The opening session of the fourth season of the Pro Kabaddi League has received a huge response with more than 80 percent of the stadium seats already sold for the first two days of the league. For the third and fourth days bookings are going on in full swing.

The league announced a shift of venue one week prior to the opening match, owing to unforeseen circumstances at the stadium at Pune. The opening day match will be between hosts Puneri Paltan and Telugu Titans at the NSCI SVP stadium here. Kailash Kandpal, team mager, Puneri Paltan, expressed elation over the ticket sales and in a release on Friday said, "We've seen an amazing response to our team’s home games despite the last minute shift of venue from Pune to Mumbai."
