‘Probe into land scam to be finished by Feb end’

SHILLONG, Jan 4: The police department today assured the State Assembly’s Public Accounts Committee (PAC) that their investigation into the land scam in the Mawpalai Afforestation area in Ri Bhoi District would be completed by February end. It may be mentioned that the PAC had directed the police department to give a monthly progress report on the progress of investigation into the case.
