Programme for unemployed

SHILLONG, July 5: A sensitisation, motivation and training programme for unemployed youths, school and college drop-outs, poor and margilized boys and girls will be held on July 11 at Don Bosco Technical School at Laitumkhrah in Shillong from 9.45 a.m. onwards. Out of nearly 400 applicants who have SMSed their mes to Don Bosco Past Pupils' Association since June 27 last, 71 youths were selected for the programme as per availability of seats. Those who cannot participate can inform the association. Experts on motivation, sensitisation and training for the youths will be drawn from Meghalaya State Skills' Development Society, Craftmen Training of Labour Department and North East India Tourism Confederation.
