Programme on disability awareness

TINSUKIA, Oct 29: Department of empowerment of persons with disabilities, Union Ministry of Social Justice Empowerment in collaboration with local NGO Surjaday on Tuesday organized a disability awareness programme here. The awareness programme was iugurated by District Social Welfare Officer, Tinsukia Runu Devi. The programme was presided over by Suren Khaund. Participating in the programme, Rajib Bhardag, Administrative Officer of Composite Regiol Centre, spoke about the carrier prospect of persons with disabilities. Samir Mazumdar, District Development Mager of BARD and Akhil Baruah, Director of Surjaday were attended in the programme as chief guests.
