Biswanath Chariali, June 8: Interim conference of the International Society for Folk Narrative Research (ISFNR), 2018 will be held in Ragusa, Italy under the aegis of Universita degli Studi di Catania, an Italian University, from June 12 to June 16. This year the said university has included Assamese traditions and legends in their general programme and a special discussion will be held on the topic of ‘Story Telling of the Oja Pali of Assam’. Sanju Baruah, a Ph D research scholar of Gauhati University has been bestowed the job of presenting the special paper in the seminar. Sanju Baruah hails from Biswanath Chariali who is also a member of All India Congress Committee (AICC).
