Prohibition on pillion riding in Kamrup

Rangia, August 24: For safety and security of human life, Additiol District Magistrate of Kamrup, Anurupa Baruah under section 144 CrPC has prohibited pillion riding on two wheelers in the entire district of Kamrup with immediate effect. However, there are some exceptions like ailing persons travelling to and from any hospital, police personnel and armed forces in uniform and old persons above 65 years and children below 12 years.
