Prominent advocate's demise condoled

Dibrugarh, Feb 28: One of the prominent advocates of Dibrugarh Bar, Bhaskarjyoti Rajkonwar, passed away at local nursing home here on Tuesday due to prolonged kidney ailment.  He was 45. Son of former IAS officer Ganesh Raj Konwar, advocate Bhaskarjyoti is survived by his wife and son, besides his mother, two brothers, family members and host of his colleagues and admirers. Born in October 4 in 1969, Raj Konwar completed his matriculation from Dibrugarh Government Higher Secondary School and later obtained his L.L.B degree from Kanoi Law College. As an ardent lover of music, Rajkonwar was a guitar player and had accompanied noted singer Zubin Garg on a number of shows. His last rites were performed at the Chowkidinghi crematorium amidst presence of family members and others. Earlier, the body of Rajkonwar was brought to Dibrugarh District and Session Judge Court where rich tributes were paid by the members of Dibrugarh Bar and others.  The Dibrugarh Bar Association as well as several other socio-cultural and youth organizations, including Dibrugarh District  Students’ Union,  Dibrugarh unit of ATTSA, AJYCP, Anchalikotabadi AGP, Dibrugarh District Xahitya Xabha condoled the untimely demise of advocate Rajkonwar and conveyed their heartfelt sympathy to the bereaved family.
