Prominent educationist and advocate passes away

Dibrugarh, Sept 20: Well-known educationist and advocate Biren Bordoloi passed away on September 18 here at his residence after prolonged illness. He was 80. He is survived by his wife, son, daughter and friends and relatives. He was the former Headmaster of Dibrugarh Madarkhat Sitaram Chowkhani Higher Secondary School  and was the founder member of Dibrugarh Advocates Association (DAA) and later joined as the lecturer of Dibrugarh Rohini Kanta Baruah Law College (RKB). A meeting was convened at DAA premises on Tuesday where tributes were paid to the deceased soul by the members of DDA who reminisced on his life and works. The DDA members also extended their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.
