Prominent eye specialist goes missing

JORHAT, June 12: A popular eye specialist, Girish Chandra Borgohain (76), has been missing from his Habichuk Kamalaboria gaon residence under Lichubari outpost since Monday morning, said family sources. An FIR was lodged at Lichubari outpost. According to Dr. Borgohain’s daughter-in-law Ruby, her father-in-law did not return after morning walk till 8 am, which was Dr. Borgohain’s regular habit. His wife was away to her sister’s place at zira. Soon police was informed and a team arrived at the doctor’s residence. Search is on.
