Prominent persolities to be felicitated

JORHAT, April 12: On the iugural day of the golden jubilee function of Assam Agricultural University (AAU), seven prominent persolities will be felicitated and awarded for their outstanding contribution in their respective fields by the Vice-President of India. The dignitaries who will be felicitated include- for jourlism Dhiren Chakraborty, for judiciary Justice SN Phukan, for education Chiranjib Chaliha, former professor of JB College, for social uplift Dipak Borthakur, and for banking and fince, the chief general mager of BARD, Rajeshwari Kakoty Baruah.
