Promotion of APCS officers cleared

Itagar, June 14: The Aruchal Pradesh Personnel department has on Chief Minister Pema Khandu’s directive conducted Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) meeting to consider promotion of Aruchal Pradesh Civil Service (APCS) officers in various categories. The DPC headed by Chief Secretary Shakuntala D Gamlin with Personnel Principal Secretary Satya Gopal and General Administration Commissioner Hage Kojeen as members cleared the promotion for 16 Entry Grade officers to Senior Grade, 18 Senior Grade to Selection Grade and 11 Selection Grade to Administrative Grade officers. Appreciating the promptness of the department in conducting the long overdue DPC, Khandu on Tuesday directed all other departments to follow suit and abide by the government order of conducting DPC every six month, a report from the CMO said. “For ensuring quality work output, morale of the officers should always be high. And for keeping so, timely promotion is important,” Khandu said. The chief minister hinted at reviewing the action taken by all departments on DPC, the report added.
