Proposal on Fare Hike for Goods and Passenger Vehicles

GUWAHATI, Sept 21: The Sadou Assam Paribahan Sangstha on Friday submitted a letter to the State’s Transport Commissioner proposing increase on fare for both goods and passenger vehicles. Highlighting the recent rise of prices on petroleum products, the Sangstha pleaded the Commissioner to materialize their proposal from September 30 which otherwise they expressed firm to introduce a revised fare from October 3 on their whims.
