Protect all religions, Kaso to Centre

Itagar, March 17: Urban development Parliamentary Secretary Techi Kaso has urged the Centre to provide protection to all religious groups from any kind of untoward incidents. Talking to media person in his office here today, Kaso said “Freedom of religion in India is a fundamental right guaranteed by the Constitution where every citizen has the right to practice and promote their religion peacefully.”

“Time and time again the Christian community is being targeted as a 71 year old nun was raped and burning of church is evidence that it is condemble and disgraceful,” he said.

He added that every state in the country should be equipped on protecting every religious group in order to avoid the negligence that has been shown by Delhi police personnel on the episode which is under the Modi-led BJP government.”

“The sole etiquette of every believer is to serve the people, love and respect each other irrespective of religion’s denomition without discrimition,” said Kaso.

Consolidating Aruchal Pradesh Catholic Association (APCA), Aruchal Christian Forum (ACF) he stated, “When people from different religious group send representatives to the government with their problems and the government must listen to it, and the culprit should be punished as all are equal in the eye of law.”

He requested all religious communities of twin capital and state as a whole to respect every religion through love and good behavior rather than differentiating each other as God is one and equal for all.
